Renewal of Storage Service Agreement for 2024 between JOTC and JOPETROL

Renewal of the service agreement between the Jordan Oil Terminal Company (JOTC), a Jordanian logistics company for oil terminals, and JOPETROL, a petroleum products marketing company, for the year 2024. JOTC will provide secure and efficient storage and handling services for JOPETROL's imported petroleum products to the Kingdom through the Port of Aqaba. The agreement was signed at the headquarters of the Jordan Oil Terminal Company, with Eng. Hasan Alheyari, the General Manager of JOTC, and Eng. Khaled Al Zoubi, the General Manager of JOPETROL, signing on behalf of their respective companies.

Eng. Hasan Alheyari, the General Manager of JOTC, stated that this agreement is merely a renewal of the partnership between JOTC and JOPETROL, embodying the mutual interests and trust between the two companies, and looking forward to a prosperous and mutually successful future that reflects the excellence and development of both companies.

Alheyari added that JOTC stores all types of fuel imported, subject to the approval of the Jordan Institution for Standards and Metrology to receive these shipments before unloading them at the terminals after passing all accredited laboratory tests. JOTC provides its services to all oil marketing companies impartially and on a single basis, based on the principle of multiple uses to ensure open and secure access to the terminals.

Eng. Al Zoubi affirmed that JOPETROL is committed to adopting a clear and explicit strategy to develop its business, based on the pursuit of quality in all its products and activities within Jordanian and international laws, regulations, and standards, through the development of all fuel stations and unifying the level of services within these stations from the farthest north to the farthest south of the Kingdom.

In conclusion, Alheyari emphasized that JOTC works with JOPETROL and all partners to ensure that Jordanian citizens have access to petroleum products according to the best international standards.
