JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring the continuity and efficient operation of equipment and systems, by inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing faults, repairing and refurbishing systems such as pumps, generators, motors, and turbines, to reduce unplanned downtime and extend the life of assets.

JOB DESCRIPTION / Main Tasks & Duties

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute maintenance tasks (Preventive/Corrective) under the direction of the manager.
Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and spare parts necessary for maintenance operations.
Inspect operational machinery to ensure proper function and performance.
Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment issues.
Supervise contractors to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and procedures.
Repair, maintain, and oversee machinery and systems.
Support other maintenance personnel as needed, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
Take responsibility for work performed by Welders/Fitters when assigned.
Contribute to investigations of equipment breakdowns and propose corrective actions.
Prepare comprehensive task reports detailing all maintenance activities.
Coordinate with operations teams daily regarding job-related activities.
Specify departmental requirements for spares, tools, and consumables.
Conduct routine maintenance, testing, fault-finding, and repairs on equipment.
Assist in the installation and modification of systems and equipment.
Continuously monitor and order spare parts and consumables as necessary.
Manage and adhere to the maintenance budget.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations.
Always uphold safe maintenance practices and prioritize safety considerations.
Report any incidents, accidents, near misses occurring within the terminal premises.
Comply with all safety, environmental, health and fire prevention rules and procedures defined and set out by the company.
Any other reasonable duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification	Diploma Degree in mechatronics Engineering or any related field.
Years of Experience	5-7 years in a relevant field
Languages	Arabic, English
